’Accelerate 4.0 Youth Advocacy program’’ - These programs are currently being rolled out in Kenya and South Sudan
‘’AcceleratHer Periods - Fuelling Leadership via Wellbeing" program’’
Traditional leadership models often overlook the critical aspect of female well-being. Our "AcceleratHer Periods—Fuelling Leadership via Wellbeing" program directly addresses this gap. It equips women with essential skills, provides education on menstrual cycle management, and creates platforms to reduce the stigma surrounding menstrual health. Crucially, the program also includes men to foster better support for women in both the workplace and leadership roles.

The stigmas surrounding Social Ills, Period and Menopausal health and Male Mental Health issues can only be reduced by regular conversations and engagement at grass root level. WFN takes a holistic approach towards normalization of these channels, hence our efforts include advocacy, research, consultation and education. The education piece is a big one for us, hence learning modules have been designed and developed to effect learning via the creative space such as period drama, art, interviews, story sharing, poetry, fashion, and short stories.

21 Suits Wellness Summit - Decoding beyond 40 series
The Bridge Between Ageism and Personal Power: A Wellness Summit for the 40+ Generation
This concept note outlines an online wellness summit specifically designed for individuals aged 40 and above from Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs). The summit will address the unique challenges and opportunities of aging, bridging the gap between societal ageism and the reclamation of personal power. While resources for wellness and aging are abundant in High-Income Countries (HICs), a significant void exists for those in LMICs, where cultural, economic, and healthcare realities are vastly different.
Background
Aging is a universal experience, but its narrative is often shaped by privilege. In many LMICs, discussions around age-related health changes, such as perimenopause, menopause, and andropause, are taboo or non-existent. This lack of conversation, combined with pervasive ageism and beauty bias, can lead to a sense of powerlessness, loneliness, and a decline in overall well-being. The summit aims to dismantle these barriers by providing a safe, accessible, and informative online space where individuals can share experiences, access expert knowledge, and build a supportive community.
Objectives
• Foster Conversation and Community: Create a platform for open and honest dialogue about aging, allowing participants to
share their stories and build a strong network of support with their peers.
• Share Knowledge and Experience: Provide practical, culturally relevant information on the physical and psychological
aspects of perimenopause, menopause, and andropause, including symptoms, management strategies, and wellness
practices.
• Explain Innovations: Introduce new, accessible, and affordable innovations in wellness that are relevant to LMIC contexts.
This includes leveraging traditional and local remedies, digital health tools, and low-cost lifestyle interventions.
• Reclaim Personal Power: Empower individuals to challenge ageism and beauty bias by reframing aging as a journey of
growth, wisdom, and personal liberation.
Target Audience
Our primary target audience is individuals aged 40 and over residing in LMICs. We will also appeal to healthcare and wellness professionals, educators, researchers, policymakers, and family members who seek to better understand and support the older generation.
Themes
The summit's sessions will be structured around the following key themes, all with a specific focus on the LMIC experience:
• Perimenopause and Menopause: Demystifying these transitions with practical advice on symptom management, hormonal
changes, and mental health.
• Andropause: Providing a parallel and crucial conversation for men, addressing the less-discussed topic of age-related
hormonal changes and their impact on physical and mental health.
• Wellness and Age: Moving beyond a focus on youth to embrace health and vitality at every stage of life. This includes
sessions on nutrition, physical activity, and mental well-being tailored for LMICs.
• Beauty Bias and Ageism: Confronting the cultural and societal pressures that diminish the value of older individuals. We
will explore how to build self-confidence and embrace one's appearance and identity as one ages.
Expected Outcomes
• Increased Knowledge: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the physiological and psychological changes of
aging, and how to proactively manage them.
• Strengthened Networks: The online format will facilitate the creation of a powerful, cross-border community, connecting
individuals who share similar experiences and challenges.
• Shifted Mindsets: The summit will challenge existing prejudices and stereotypes, helping individuals and society as a whole
to view aging not as a decline, but as a period of renewed purpose and wellness.
• Attraction of Speakers: By focusing on the unique context of LMICs, the concept note will successfully attract a diverse
range of speakers—including doctors, wellness coaches, community leaders, and individuals with lived experience—who
can offer authentic, relevant, and impactful insights. We are particularly keen to hear from those working with limited
resources and cultural sensitivities.

Sons and Daughters of the Future - Building Beyond the Timeline
The World Paused — Valerie Did Not
When the world stood still, Valerie understood the pause not as an interruption but as an initiation. In the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic—when countless lives were being reshaped and people everywhere were learning to navigate the new normal—she chose action over hesitation. This book emerged from that global turning point: a call to step into personal authority, choose meaning over noise, and embrace courageous, visible, intentional reinvention.
This anthology is her impact button—an invitation to activate purpose with intention, fortify resilience, and boldly step into courage.

The Heart of the Book
Curated with precision and heart, Sons and Daughters of the Future presents the transformative journeys of more than 30 leaders from 15 countries. Many contributors found themselves rebuilding in the wake of Covid-19, redefining identity, work, wellbeing and leadership in a world forever changed. Valerie selected each contributor for their courage to pivot, their commitment to reinvention, and their devotion to meaningful, grounded work in an age of relentless distraction.
By weaving her philosophy of purpose-led living with the lived wisdom of global leaders, she has created a work that is both personal and practical—a guide for readers ready to rise beyond limitation and build with intention.
At the centre of her message lies a truth she embodies:
“The cost of waiting on a dream is greater than the risk of starting.”
— Valerie W. Naidoo
These stories reveal how vulnerability becomes power, how conviction builds community, and how private decisions can spark profound public transformation.

Future Impact
Through Valerie’s vision, this book becomes far more than a collection of stories—it becomes a movement in action, demonstrating that reinvention and renewal are possible at any age and in any circumstance. It captures how people rebuilt their lives in a post-pandemic world, reimagining purpose, identity and influence.
By embracing this mindset, readers join a global shift in how purpose is lived. No longer building in isolation, they become part of a self-sustaining generational force—one that inspires through alignment, action and authenticity.
This is how Valerie leads.
This is how the co-authors live and lead.
